oh sweet, gentle vday!anon. what have you done? asking me about these lovely, precious boys. you don’t know what you’ve walked yourself into. i am so sorry for the rambling about to happen.

let’s start with kurt hummel. the boy i fell in love with from one goofy commercial. i’ve played him and written him so much. he’s brought me some of my best friends, along with glee. he is strong, and gentle, and kind, and sometimes vicious out of fear and the hate he’s had to endure. but he has grown so much. into his handsome, elegant young man who owns himself and has overcome his own self-esteem problems. who no longer takes people’s crap, and stands up for himself and loves himself and does things that benefit him - while still helping others and putting up with far too much crap. i love him very, very much.

and then we have blaine. the eager puppy dog who thinks he has more to prove than he does. who boxes and has come from someone who ran, and was afraid to be his whole self - into a colorful little muffin he deserves to be. courageous, strong, sweet - and a little bit of a dumbass sometimes (but aren’t we all)? i fell in love with this handsome boy and never looked back, and he has brought so much to not only kurt - but the rest of glee club, and himself. and he has grown and learned just like the rest of them.

together they have a love that is layered and complicated as any i’ve seen. this couple has made waves throughout the world. they are so cute together, and so wonderful - and they learn and they grow and they make mistakes. but no matter what they are there for one another to offer support, and best of all? friendship. even in their down moments they hold one another up - and they are amazing for it. these two are so in love and sometimes they can’t see it and they lash out and hurt one another, but they recover and they try to grow and make everything healthy. they put amazing effort into one another and their singular selves.

i love them so much. as i have for years. and maybe things could have been different, or handled different between the writers and characters. and maybe they should have been. but no matter what kurt and blaine are great human beings and characters and they sing like dreams and are intelligent, and played by some of the most inspiring actors out there today. i really. really. love them both. and together they make klaine, which is an amazing soulmate entity that takes my breath away.
